  • nearly maintenance-free.

  • appreciate in value.

  • relatively earthquake-proof.

  • 24 to 46% easier to heat and cool.

  • easy to build.

  • adaptive to environments.

  • easily repaired.

  • different--no two are alike.

High in the Rocky Mountains at elevations between 8,000 to 12,000 feet there is an abundant supply of  Engelmann Spruce and Aspen that is harvested. It is  transported to the mill where it is cut into double tongue and groove log so they fit securely one over the other.  These logs are naturally insulated with solid wood 5 1/2" thick.

The air in the Colorado/Utah area is so dry, the logs contain a moisture content ratio of 8 to 12%.  Because the logs are dry, they will not check or shrink as other woods do--such as pine, cypress, and oak.  The log cants are also inspected and graded.

The logs are available in Spruce or Aspen-- in six and eight inch sizes, with double tongue and groove, engineered round on the exterior side with a drip cap, and flat on the interior side.
